@blossom: thanks love… I knew what I wanted and so I gave pics and instructions to proto and she was able to make it to my specification. Alhamdulilah love my jewellery too!

I’ve come back to the UK where I live.. Just went to get hitched in pak because hubby’s family lives there.

@ MissSN: proto is based in Lahore .. you can find her on facebook and on gupshup she is called kapray shapray on facebook…:slight_smile:

@Spiral: If you ask me honestly it was Lanacane that saved the day..its not a primer but I decided to use it after reading about it online.

Most of the makeup was Mac and and the foundation was MAC studiofix.. the rest was by bobbi brown :slight_smile:

afaaf - many congrats to you. I also live in the UK, did proto ship to you or did you pick up your clothes from Pak? Is she reliable etc? I got my walima clothes made from a lady in Karachi, it was all done online. The workmanship was quite rough, especially on the dupatta and she made the neck line really narrow so there was hardly any room for a necklace!

I would appreciate the feedback xx

Well all the times I've ordered from her I've asked family/friends etc to collect from her but yes she will ship to the UK if needs be. As with any designer the key is communication.. you must both be very clear about the final product and need to communicate it as simply as possible. Alhamdulilah I found proto to be a genuine, friendly person who is willing to help and cater to your needs. The kaam on her outfits is neat ...as is the stitching and thats what makes the outfits soo lovely. About sizing, you need to fill out a measurement form and be as accurate as possible...there has been one occassion when one of the trousers was not the right size and proto offered to adjust and fix the problem but I didnt have enough time and was coming back to the UK. So I left it.

Anyhow you might want to read prototype's reviews thread.. where people have written detailed descriptions about their experience with proto... hope that helps :)
