I found Jim Carrey tolerable in The Mask but, in this movie, he is back to his Ace Ventura worst. If you appreciate Carrey, his first movie, or anything featuring Jim’s stupidity, Dumb and Dumber is likely your sort of experience. Everyone else will either be bored, offended or both. It was corney, cheesey and the end was TERRIBLE. By FAR the WORST movie I have ever seen. There are these two stupid guys. They do disgusting, humiliating, offensive, and dangerous things. The title is accurate, but it’s not a comedy. Holocaust documentaries have more entertainment value. The content of the film has no redeeming value or quality whatsoever.

This coming from a guy who thinks “there’s something about mary” is the best comedy ever. Dude, you lost your right to mock Jim Carrey the moment you “laughed your ass off” watching those vulgar scenes from that vulgar movie.

defend your argument with examples like I did. calling “something about mary” vulgar doesn’t make it any less comedy nor does it make D&D-ER any less vulgar and stupid. Say wahtever you want but your favorite movie is nothing but an uneven collection of bodily function jokes, facial gyrations, sexual jibes and pedestrian slapstick. Vulgar? You tell me.

Now, it’s possible that a laxative prank could be made funny—but not for me.
The low stuff keeps going and going. On the road, for instance, Carrey has to relieve himself and he uses an empty beer bottle. and he does it five times. A cop pulls them over, accuses them of carrying alcohol and—could you guess?—samples the evidence. The urine yuks don’t stop there, but I will.

You need to re-define the meaning of vulgar lady.

Those people who voted for ‘snatch’ are spot on. This was surely one of a kind. Brad Pitt’s gypsy accent in that movie needs a special mention.

EVERY scene in 'Andaz Apna Apna ’ had some comical side to it Even the thought of that movie makes me wanna see it again and laugh my heart out

Asif2000- There's something about mary made the boldest and most vulgar statement ever in the history of Comedy movies, and guess what, it involved a certain "bodily fluid". Don't you go on about urine thang in Dumb and Dumber, you talk as if all was pg-13 in "something about mary".

It's hard to recall scenes from such a bad piece of trash, but yeah, the zipper scene wasn't an after-school special either.

Asif, now that I revisited your list again, I see you have "American Pie" in there. Wow! And you find dumb and dumber vulgar.. Maybe vulgar is not the right word for your kind of movies, it's I guess "cheap" , the kind that play on the fact that some people get kicks out of sex oriented humour.

And no need getting all defensive. So what your choice sucks, it's not the end of the world.

Perhapes you misunderstood me. I was talking about your hypocrisy when I mentioned vlulgar scenes from D&DER. Your main argument was that you didn’t like ‘something about mary’ because it was vulgar. D&DER wasn’t any less vulgar. not only that, the story seemed to be a poorly connected series of gross-out jokes, which could only appeal to an audience with the mental capacity of an 8-year-old.

Me defensive? funny. This IS the best romantic comedy of all time, no doubt. And I would love for someone to challenge me on that. From beginning to end, this film failed to have one person take their eyes off the screen or not laugh at least once (at least in the theatre I was in). But what do you know? You are a jim carry fan.
