**I dont think u can go to a nice restaurant (a classy one) with the baby. what if the baby starts crying .. **lol. but if u could leave the baby with someone then the dinner would haev been the best option, in my opinion.
The picnic idea sounds great..how can the baby not be in teh mood. its summer time, lol. u should maybe take something/some toys along with u, so the baby can do his/her own thing. for something special and different; umm i dont know, cook a few things that he loves the most and stay at home (no problems for the baby either).
i think most of the ideas that we come up with would require the baby to be left with someone for that evening/day =(

im sure she can book the table for a time which coincides with her bby being asleep, her son is also a part of the occasion so try n cme up with child friendly ideas
