ok...so I set my oven to "broil" which is 500 degrees. Thats the maximum temp that the oven can go to and it uses the top flame inside the oven. Dont cover the chicken and move the oven rack up pretty close to the top. Let it broil for about 15 min on each side.
For leg pieces, you have to cut the thigh from the leg. Remove all the skin. Then cut slits into the meat almost to the bone.
I ran into a mom who went to the dinner last night (I wasnt able to go) and she told me that it was a huge hit!! :) Made my day!
