My Registry and Nikkah 15/03/09

Congrats! Lovely pics, I'm from Essex too (Hornchurch) :)

Re: My Registry and Nikkah 15/03/09

congrats, u look great mA!

Registry is the UK legal part, Islamic nikah on its own does not make a couple legally married in the UK. Some people just do nikah and aren't bothered but in the eyes of the law they are not recognised as husband and wife.

nice dudet.... u lookin so kooolll.... n ya nice couple....
stay happy ameen!!

Thank you all for your sweet comments, just getting over a dohlki party from last night!
Well I am from Ilford those who know London, UK and when my dates were set which was back in October 08 most venues were fully booked around my area! So I moved out into greater Essex, saw a few places who had the dates I wanted but then there was catering problems, or licencing problems, finally this place came up on my list and we could pretty much mould it into how I wanted it here, it was a bit further than others in mind but it was so worth it.
We had my Registry in the early afternoon (Legally we were registered as husband and wife) and my Nikkah was in the evening just before dinner.

Mashallah the weather was fantastic, everything went according to plan, food was yummy and got some fab photos.

My mehndi is in a hall in Hornchurch this Saturday, again back in October 08 everything around me was booked or not to my standard,

Will post up pics then tooo

Sharing a few more pics from the Nikkah, again these are from the home photography team!

Both my outfits were designed by myself and are made in Pakistan, My registry outfit is Pure French lace but worked on beautifully with kardana, dhabka, pearls, beads, Swarovski, I gave it the pakistani touch,
Nikkah outfit was a sharara with a train, I chose a neautral colour as did not want to touch upon the Red shade, so kept it earthy. It was made very pure self print Jamavaar, the kameez has very intircate detailed silk thread embroidery, a little dhakba, kora, zari and crystals, the sharara had a little puddle train on both legs and about a 5 inch border of intricate detail again, dupatta was in chiffon with scalloped border detail.

Make up was done by my lovely childhoood family friend Romina, she did both looks on the day.

ENJOY

Really nice, Nudrat! You must feel a tad more awesome wearing your own creations at your wedding. Where in Pakistan did you get the outfits made?

Best Wishes for a long and happy life! :)
