to me its very intuitive. i used it only for 15-20 min on my brothers laptop, and found it very intuitive. you pick it up very fast. best thing is, when you run all your devices on Win8 you will not need to "switch context" in your brain on what and how you are going to do something.
other than this intuitive user interface, an awesome thing is that browser session sharing, between surface, windows phone, your laptop and xbox.
and a very good thing is having same application development methodology at the core irrespective of whether its Windows8 or Windows Phone 8. it will speed up application development and open many new doors for creative programmers
