yeah i understand phatima..i really would like to start wearing it in public places (mall..movies..supermarket..etc)..if not at work..but..people just stare and me you feel so uncomfortable and pass snide remarks. especially down south. plus my rents wont let me..but i dress as modestly as possible.

I am a hijaaabi (alhamdullilah) and am from DC area, but so far havn’t seen anything bad regarding it! Plus i worked at jewish place at the front desk with my hijaab and subhanallah the way i approached ppl with it…it totally gave them right impression of Islam!
