Thanks Emmy & SGC.
SGC, I made my own chicken stock as it is more healthier and nutritious but you can always use store bought chicken stock or chicken stock cubes.
I just made a simple chicken yakhni (stock) with chicken, cinnamon stick, big fat black cardamom, cloves, coriander powder, garlic paste, few ginger slices, 1 small onion, salt, and haldi. Once you have the stock, strain it, un-bone all the chicken and add it to the stock, add thinly sliced carrots, corn. When it comes to a boil add vinegar, lemon juice, soy sauce, hot sauce, and black pepper. Check for salt, if needed add more. Mix some rafan corn flour or corn starch (from american store, that is what I use) in little water, add it to the stock while stirring. Lighty whip an egg or two. Add it to the soup. After few seconds lightly stir it, cook for couple more minutes and then enjoy with crackers.

yea simple yakhni hai...
i wonder how haldi comes out in corn soup... gotta try it once..
Re: My kick a$$ soup
lolz....only pinch of haldi but you can skip it...
Re: My kick a$$ soup
are you adding a can of corn, or frozen corn or what?
Re: My kick a$$ soup
Well I used both can and fresh corn (while I was adding from the can, I realised I had some fresh corn so i added little bit of both). It really doesn't matter, you can use any. If you are using can, just make sure it is whole corn and not the sweet creamy corn. Also if you use can corn, make sure you drain and rinse the corn.
Re: My kick a$$ soup
I doubt /
Looks more like salan. You can see oil on sides. too much red chilli powder i guess. It should be either greyish or prominent with vegitable colors

Re: My kick a$$ soup
Lolz… there is no oil, literally no oil. I don’t have any chilli powder either…lol… you should read the recipie ![]()
The color is redish because of carrots, hot sauce, and soysauce.
Re: My kick a$$ soup
Looks delicious I am going to try it tomorrow.

Re: My kick a$$ soup
One day me and my buddy went to eat chines food. There were so many family in the restaurant. One kid in a family got sick and started throwing up. Even on the floor on his way to washroom.
Waiter took some time to clean it. in mean while a couple walked in and the girl goes “excuse me some one spilled soup on the floor”
lol
And we were like "why don’t try some " hahahahaha
