My interview experience...

:hoonh: U should be smarter then this munni…

About 18 months ago, I went for an interview at xxx company. Five people interviewed me. At the end of 5-hr long interview, it was certain I will get the job but I didn't. After a month one of those guys who interviewed me, called and was wondering why didn't I get hired? I think it was all because of politics. I think chupta manager wanted to hire someone else.

It happens but in your case the guy doesn't seem like he had a legitimate business. I don't think it is morally okay to interview someone in this setting.

I agree with what everyone has said here… I think you should have insisted on taking your own car to Dunkin Donuts and that way you could have followed him somewhere decent to sit down for a chat.

This whole thing seems phony… and like you said, I think its for the best that you didn’t get the job.

Finally, remember that researching a company involves more than checking out its website… as an online marketing analyst would say - the internet can make small firms look big if they have good websites, and it can make big firms look small if they have bad websites.

Yes I did research the company. It has a web presence and seemed quite professional. Even has a newsletter and everything.
