Yeh they are very effective -- I do both.
As for lookig funny-- my thing is I'm here to workout --screw everyone else.. I want results!!!

Ali -- My only concern is that those tummy-focused exercises will overwork the areas already being worked by the pilates...

Ok, then do one thing. Focus only on your lower abs after pilates and also remember that you cannot overwork your abs. The only muscle group which cannot be effected by too much of a workout.

I'm not too concerned with looking like an idiot. The pilates positions cover that. Besides, I'm at home.

Oh! I'm going to try one more thing -- switch from regular desi black tea to green tea for two weeks. I'll see how that affects the metabolism.
Tho the cravings may be too much. I may not last!

The Tuck Crunches. Vary your movement, by grounding your feet at the final set.

has anybody else tried the 8 minute abs workout? It's quick and it targets all the parts of the abs

I found it on youtube and it’s only 8 minutes but if you do it twice a day…well that’s what I do

it definitely worked for me and the tummy muscles feel really toned like they should feel since i've been using this particular ab workout for a few months now.
I never knew he had other 8 min workouts....gotta try them:D
