I was in Lahore last time I went, trying to buy some ready-made shalwar kameez from a shop. Some shopkeepers were dealing with some customers, and some were dealing with me. I guess by looking at my imported clothes, they knew I was an outsider, so not only the other shop keepers (the ones not waiting on me) were staring at me, the customers (men 
) had also stopped negotiating and they were staring at me as well. Thori der tou meney bardaasht kiya, then I had to stop and ask them to please continue what they were doing. They smiled with a sharminda look and started negotiating again

One day I was driving, someone ahead of me threw out a cigarette and it happened to get stuck in the lin between the fender of my car and the hood. All this time it stayed there and slowly died. When I got home and checked it out, because of the heat, the paint had turned from silver to black
