passed away recently, she’s the mother of my maternal grand mother so like a grand nani to me.
She was 107 yrs old n recently had witnessed her grand child from the fifth generation being born which is amazing on it’s own. She died peacefully while havin an afternoon nap.

I was just wonderin how one person feels living for so long like even by passing the lives of your own kids as happened in her own case. I havn’t met her in 6 yrs but whenever I had in past, she always seemed like radiating a kind of strength or energy. She was always so optimistic n looking forward to the future kind of a person despite whatever she went through her whole life.

She had seen the partition, buried her husband, children even grand children. Went thru financial ups n downs. Seen her five generations growing up in front of her.

After seeing so much of life I think any one wud want 2 have just n end 2 it. Like won’t one b simply tired of life n livin n want 2 get over with it? and move on with life or watever that is?

Wow, she was alive during the Titanic disaster, WW1, WW2, the stock market crash of the 20’s - just amazing.

I too think that if I got to an age that old, where I was too weak and dependent on other people , I’d rather just die peacefully.
