My First Wife ~ I'm serious

Thanks every1 for the responses. I'm glad my wife has a good sense of humor about such things. Thanks to Allah SWT we are best friends despite my fears of overcoming a parent arranged marriage. And the fact that I was raised the states.

And for those of you who posted comments about her jewellery.. it just so happens that my father in and her mamu are Jewellers in Peshawar.

I always introduce her as "my first wife" just to see the reaction I get. It's pretty funny.

Thanks for the response but you should think of opening up to humor..especially with a life mate. Comedy is a thread that can bind a long and fruitful marriage.

I have actually always asked this question of people who have been happily married for 50+ years. and the most common answer with the obvious two of respect and trust is humor.

Just imagine being with someone for 50+ years and still being able to put a smile on their face.

Just to give you another perspective.
