Ha ha. That's amusing. Trust me dude, they will NOT think it's weird. Pakis are agay agay in adopting Western styles. When I went there in 2002, I felt like a stupid gaaon ki larki coz I looked too simple and other girls of my age were like half dipped in make-up. Of course not forgetting the weird clothes too.
I say you should keep it the same, if that is how you keep your hair usually.

Yeah but I don't live in a city. And unless villages in Kashmir have started styling their hair in new and funky ways - I'll stick out like a sore thumb.

Maybe this deserves its own thread.

Hmm, I don't think anyone will find it weird. Why would you think that? It's not like it'll make you look like some unknown creature from outer space. I think it's ok. I know Kashmir is like a village but it's not that backward that people will stare at you and say all kinds of things. I say you should try it for a day or two, if you feel stupid then just leave it simple.

I'm from Azad Kashmir.

What I'm gonna do is grow it for the next 10 days. Try to style it in some new (and slightly typical Paki) way. If I think its crap I'll get it cut back to normal. I might even post some pics to see what you lot reckon.
