I've heard so many stories like that from girls over here and only those who were born here or have lived most of their lives here. I went there two years back and yeah there were a lot of men out there in the market but I never noticed anyone staring or touching or what so ever. Aik cheez is obvious you know that when you look at others that's the only way you know they're looking at you. I never noticed anyone looking at me but my mom did because I know she looks around a lot. I noticed people looking or taking a glance but not staring. Besides I wouldn't go outside without a dupatta. That is a must. I think no one should, it's like another kind of veil if you know what I mean.
Like I siad, duputta/chador/veil won’t stop anyone from looking. In my experience they stare, they say things and they even touch. I guess if u spend years there and/or are raised there, u get used to it and tend not to care. Most likely it would be the same for my cousins if they were ever to come here. Even if no one would stare at them, they’d feel self conscious :halo:
