sorry won't let me post full address in one line

Re: my experience with lesequin.com and AW

What's your budget? At times like these we all hope we were in pakistan!!!! It's so easy to go out with the tiniest possible budget and get something awesome to wear.

Re: my experience with lesequin.com and AW

I posted pictures in the other thread

Re: my experience with lesequin.com and AW

AOA WhateverFloatsURBoat I can make dresses based on colors that isnt a problem. Mostly either people show me pictures and i tell them wether i can copy them or not or they give me the colors and i design based on them. I have an anarkali that is going to be ready in around 12 days if you have time i can show you pictures as soon as it gets done.

I like this one, too, Whateverfloatsyourboat,

Thanks for posting the pics, kapracrazy. I really like the kaam on the white one.

Re: my experience with lesequin.com and AW

yea, apparently the ppl i talked to charge more for this kind of suit because the stitching is more complicate or something like that...when you want something custom or not a standard shalwar kameez it cost more apparently...it's really very annoying

Re: my experience with lesequin.com and AW

annoying thing is that I'm going to pakistan inshallah...but my bro is getting married like the day we arrive...literally, and day after valima to india....then after that only 2 weeks in pak. so i'm not gonna be able to have time to shop for clothes for my bro's wedding. if i had more time, i would custom make so many clothes from pakistan....but time is not on my side

Re: my experience with lesequin.com and AW

you're welcome mahismart, who are you talking to whatever floats your boat? What are you plannin on getting made?

Re: my experience with lesequin.com and AW

I have placed a few orders from lesequin in the past week, now the website is not working and I have sent numeous emails and received none....got a bad feeling about them now....just hoping and praying they will deliver and its just a technical hitch.....if not, i will be mad!!
So if i was you i'd hold back a few days before ordering from lesequin...

Re: my experience with lesequin.com and AW

it's the website upgrading thing going on I guess it say so on the website, me and my family are regulars there we make sure to take personal e-mail addresses of whoever has been assigned to us you should do the same.

contact them here lesequin.blogspot.com

AR's work reminds me of Hira, from fashion veer, it looks a little cheap and old fashioned!!

Re: my experience with lesequin.com and AW

Are you serious? AW you mean. How can I be sure? Cause I placed orders with her in the past and if this is the case I dont wanna go ahead with it anymore, cause eventhough tthe work was alrite but I hate liars

Re: my experience with lesequin.com and AW

Re: my experience with lesequin.com and AW

yup it's lil ole me! :D yeah it is pretty fancy

Re: my experience with lesequin.com and AW

I don't think AW is Hira. I quite like her work on kapracrazy's kurtis. The yeloow mehndi/mayoon dress is quite old school. My mom said that it reminded her of her own dress. AW sounds very polite in emails and all. I asked to look at a few of her dresses but opted out as I don't have the budget right now. She never behaved rudely towards me and never pestered, too.

On a more general note, if all these home based designers offer an affordable sale (Pak rs. 10,000 or less) in one thread we can really try out a few outfits ad see how it goes. We get to see the clothes, test their customer service and have a trusted designer all in one go. The designers would get loyal customers who would be ordering from them time and again. If done right, this would be better for everyone's peace of mind.

Just wanted to say my piece on the designer wars that erupt every now and then.

what kinda dress u r asking for in 1000 rupees ..will u please clarify???coz as far as i know no one will ever give u in this price....
