We haven't decided on a date yet, but theres a possibility it might be this year so my mom got me this outfit from pakistan, in case we dont find one here and dont feel like driving down to chicago to pick one up. Its not exactly what I had pictured myself in but it looks really nice and different and I wouldn't want to break my moms heart over a stupid lil outfit. And I would still have rukhsati/walima to wear what i want so I guess this is it for now(unless I really fall in love with some other dress). And I haven't decided if I am going to wear hijab with it yet, it might be completely seprate and in taht case the dupatta wont even be on my head :p But if it is mixed then i am gonna wear the dupatta so it covers everything(sleeves, head, neck) and go easy on the make-up and no hair-do. i will post the pic of me wearing it after the nikkah/engagement/eloping whatever happens first :p
And the VS is my undies and travel-size conditioners, nothing special :p
So basically this is all i feel about it, for now I am just really nervous about the WHEN part, once i have that under control everything else is a piece of cake. I dont know its weird, weddings make me really nervous but my own doesnt. LOL I feel like I am already married and doing this just for the rest of the world. So yeah no special posts or journal entries for the wedding yet.

hey congrats im really happy for you i'm also getting married this yr inshallah and i feel the same way as you do that u feel nervous about weddings but because its u'r own u're not that nervous. I guess its because of all the rearrangements and trying to sort stuff out so that it's near enough perfect but i don't think it will sink into me untill i'm actually there lol.
