i dunno NJgal how old ur kiddo is but don't retire the highchair. i did it with my daughter very early n still today at age 5 she runs away from table n everyday its a struggle with her. don't allow opening the pantry n picking snacks every now n then. giv limited choices at meal time like b/w one or two food. too much choice confuses them n u get a picky eater right there. i feel the rule"eat watever available" is the best. no choosing no picking :)
