My car...

This is the story of me and my Nissan 300ZX twinturbo on one fine monday night…you may not understand unless you have the same desire for cars as I do…

I was leaving my parents house and I live about 1.5 hours away so its a boring trip but not last night

http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smile.gif

First of all let me explain this bond with my ton and a half of metal…regardless of how idiotic it may sound, I have realized that I cannot function without my car, last week I had to use another car(celica convertible-not bad but its just not me) because my father was having new tires put on my Z…no big deal right…HA! I couldn’t even function properly, it took me forever just to get out of the car when going to the store because I was seriously making sure noone was looking at me, now I can’t believe how self-conscious and paranoid I was about it at the time…(bad week too because I forgot to buy milk and I wasn’t about to go back again)

Well anyways, now this week I had my baby back, had her cleaned nice and shiny with a tune up and new tires hugging the road…Now I dont speed more then 5mph(too many cops have told me not to anymore

http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/frown.gif

) so 10 minutes into my trip this new blue Z28 flys up from behind and stays with me then races by me and since his licence plate was RICE KLR, I had to give chase, feeling the blood pumping in both legs as I pressed the clutch and shift into 3rd, I caught up to this kid by the next light and let him eat my dust…but he didn’t learn and came calling doing well over double the speed limit but I let him go because thats just pure stupid!!!

Next light i’m behind the same chevy and now I notice his aftermarket FLOWMASTER exhaust, making the nicest humming noise…he must be running around 300 horses…he gets his confidence up by slaughtering a turbo Integra and I follow simply as a neutral observer…so this time the blood is flowing strong delivering epinephrine to my entire body, at the next light, I stand by, waiting for the signal look the driver straight in the eye, tires screeeeeeeching from both our torque monsters, as I fly by this pride-of-america as i’m shifting smooth as silk…at 90mph with a good car length lead I flash my hazards and slow down and he makes a Uturn around in shame…

Thats not all, as I get close to my house, this little Z3 goes by me at an incredible speed, I turn off the radio and tail this guy at a safe distance. At the next light I see thats its a doctor I know from the hospital…so we race at first then pull over, he lets me drive his BMW and I offer the same to him(looks to me that he got the better deal since his was just a 1.9 four cyl)

As a side note I just want to say that you should have respect for others and the road because if you don’t, it can kill you QUICK…

ROMAN bhai, don’t worry about me as long as i’ve got my car yaar

http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smile.gif

I'm a chicken when it comes to racing cars or motor bikes... and I'm damn proud of it too.

i just use my finger and it works perfectly
besides road rage is like not at all cool

K2pk, you should write a book.

k2pk ,

Japanese Sports cars are the Best!

Comeon Roman bhai, you’ve got the perfect car to hook up…but I guess with experience and maturity people use their brain more…

http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smile.gif

What do you mean Anchal, you have a fast finger??? well anyways, this was just a simple street race but your right, road rage is very very dangerous!!!

ahhhh you bring sweet memories to mind. the 300zx has always been a fav car of mine and.
I am reminded of my move from philly to ohio with my jaguar xjs and how ppl would insist on racing ..and get blown to bits.

currently with my wife’s eclipse and my v6 driving is till fun but nto quite the way it was with the xjs, although i dont miss the repair bills

http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smile.gif

haha Mehak, I guess not

http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smile.gif

but I want mine 5 speed with a supercharger…

Fraudz I know what you mean, I drove an xks the 12 cyl convertible and it was such a pleasure to drive

http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smile.gif

pure power!!!

The only thing I hate about these high performance machines(besides the expense), is that after all the looks and all the pleasure, its just bought power, anyone can get one…

Honda Civic Type R is the best!!

Thank you, come again

nyah k2 man u can soup those up too, there are tons of companies out there making all sorts of performance addond and parts to soup even cars like porsche

K2pk

what i meant was that i surely dont wanna end up paralyzed for life just cause i was trying to be cool

Not entirely true, Bimmer Sports M-3 is better!. Pampers you good and propells you like a rocket.

ymirza: you’re right.. but i’m not quite yet in the league of owning a ferrari or a porsche!!

Therefore my dream car at the mo is a Supra Twin Turbo (Big spoiler ‘n’ all) which inshallah i’ll be getting later this year.

http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/wink.gif

They stop making Toyota Supra couples years back, but it still is my favirote Toyota car.
Has any one in here have driven a Toyota Celica GTS, not the normal one (GT), it looks the same but it runs better and the tires are little bigger.

Thank you, come again

Honda Civic EX.. 1.6L with 14" wheels..

Ahhh.. the thrill of a compact car...

aaah... the vibration when an 18-wheeler passes you by... and the struggle with the steering wheel to keep the car on the road.. Phew!!!

Umair my wife had a gts until a few months ago, she got rid of that and went for an eclipse. celeica gts is a good car though.

Back in the day i used to have a 240sx and that car was fun to drive too.

Anchal, thats why they have two lanes, one normal and one fast, we all know where we belong…but to your point of SAFETY, you’re right, doing dangerous stuff is not COOL esp if it has too much risk or no reason; half of the time i’m scared myself from others on the road who are either too nervous to drive or too careless to drive safely…I only do the ‘riskier’ stuff when there is noone around and i’, alon in the car or when i’m on the track or the dragstrip…

ymirza, I know what you mean about european cars, magnificient(esp the M3 and new M5

http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smile.gif

), i’m sure MrFraudia can confirm that but umair and cooldude are right, the japanese have a more reliable product for a better price…

hey CoolDude, keep us updated on the supra, I had a 91 turbo before the Z and miss her everytime I **pass **one…(they discontinued it in 98)

Umair, the new GTS celica is nice, 6 speed, 180bhp and still only a 1.8!!!

Wait, MrFraudia, your wife had a new body celica? very very nice I can imagine…
you’re right, you can soup up anything but when your over 200 horses, its really just a competition of a few 10ths of a second and alot of money

http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smile.gif

haha Ghalib, there is nothing like going 70 mph and slowing down cause you feel your going to fast
