My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

She should have some shame .

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

she is on this thread, so I hope she can see on what all occasions she is incorrect, apparently in her believe she did nothing wrong and I am trying to be the difficult one to seek and advertise about my wedding dress publicly even before I wear it !

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

Lol she thinks its such a gorguz dress tht u wud want to advertise??not even one person said its wearable or shes right
anywats consider the 80,000 as a kheraat of your wedding that u gave to someone who might really needed it because she begged for the suit back too.so pata nhi kitni zaruratmand ha

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

Zaroorat mandh toh bilkul nahii, I found out the cost of the dress and it was 50 PKR and 4000 PKR courier.

Money taken from me 275 PKR for dress + 15000 PKR courier.

now the dress is also taken and sold to some one else, Allah SWT will do just for taking money like that her cheez ka hisab hai.

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

Height of besharmi .dont wry .u gave kheraat to her .

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

She is a cunning lady ; the actual cost of dress was definitely around $800, which she kept and refunded you the profit she had on it. I would strongly suggest to not to remove this thread and let it stay just to save any other person from falling in @Husn_e_Afza_Couture 's trap.

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

Its not an option the admin does not remove anything thread over 25 post ! and I want too now go on bad buyers online and repost everything, coz how badly she have dealt with my situation.

what do you all suggest ladies.?

she actually said to my brother who was dealing with her when I was in hospital for 2 days that she had long list of people to rave about her work. but I highly doubt especially for bridal.

She doesnt even do her own work, and delegate to other girls to do it for her.

The person you represented her and came to pay me, actually does her formal wear, she too did the one white gown i order last year for which she charged Husn a Afza not more then 18 to 20 k mx i forgot excat figure said to me and Sanaa Tariq charged me 58 PKR for this dress…

I cannot tell that other girls name coz her husband is like a brother to me. she just played games between me and her too.

and told her I bad mouth her, Sanaa tariq is truly leaves me speechless, I do not understand how she lives with her own self minting money off like that from people.

making more then double profit, which is not permissible religiously too.

May Allah teach her lesson for all un just money she has taken from people.

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

The best you can do is to let this review thread stay here and save some people from getting trapped AND next time, do your homework before ordering online :k: you have learnt a pricey lesson and you can now stop wasting your time answering her back or talking about her since there is no way she will return rest of your money. Enjoy your wedding preps :hugz: while Allah will take care of anyone being unfair to others.

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

Thank you I agree with you.

Alhumdulillah for what i have received.

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

@Mahreen Anjum - I am so sorry that you had to go thru this ordeal. In the end I hope that Catwalk delivers a sensational dress for you and it is better than even you can imagine.

Let me give my 2 cents worth:

1) Yes I know that every little girl dreams about her wedding since a very young age....Its natural and very normal. But one thing I would advise my own daughters, nieces, friends and all others girls is EVEN MORE IMPORTANT than the WEDDING is the MARRIAGE. The wedding is just a couple of hours. I make dua for you and every other girl: May allah bless your marriage with endless love and happiness.

2) Things happen...May this be a life lesson for you and all those that are reading this thread. Communication is very very important in every relationship and every transaction.

3) The dress that was made was not horrible. However, it definitely was not worth $3000 which is a lot of money. I think everyone agrees it was not a easy dress to replicate. Hats off to Catwalk for saying right off the bat that she could not replicate it. It is GOOD BUSINESS to accept that you cannot comfortably replicate all designer work.

4) the clothing and replicating business is a very tough and demanding business. It is rewarding pleasing your clients but there is no doubt that pleasing the customer all the time is difficult. There is a huge responsibility of pleasing the customer on the "the most important day of her life". She reading thru the forum I know that Misbah and Proto sometimes bend over backwards to please their customers. While it is definitely good business , I am sure it can be overwhelming at times. I have a modest home based boutique and sometimes it be difficult to deal with some customers. I don't think Mahreen's behavior was unjustified - However I will say that an EDUCATED AND INFORMED customer is WORTH THIER WEIGHT IN GOLD and then some. It is important to do your research as a client throughly and always get at least 3 to 5 quotes from reputed HBD who can replicate the outfit. Always have the original designers price for reference. Of course Mahreen did have the original designer price at hand. Also make sure that HBD has a policy to please the customer. Thanks proto for posting the way you deal with clients.
5) Check for references of satisfied clients and pictures of completed work. I'm sure Mahreen you learned a lesson you surely will never forget. The life lesson you learn is simply priceless!

ONE THING I WAS DEEPLY SADDENED and disturbed in this thread was mention of Alizay of Robe de Style. She is deceased (May Allah grant her highest place in Jannah)...if she erred on some of her business commitments that is sad...but to say that her untimely death was justified bc of her business dealing is simply in poor taste. May Allah forgive all of us and pardon all of Alizay's shortcomings but please I hope no one brings up her name. SO MANY times our creator tests us with Azmaish and blesses us with so much naimat beyond what we deserve. It is simply Allah's love both in times of Azmaish and times of blessings. (No offense to the person that bought this up...I know you were simply trying to comfort a distressed bride and overall you meant but this is my request no further mention of her. Btw I did not know Alizay nor did I have business dealing with her).

Good Luck to you Mahreen! Cant wait to see your wedding dress...

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

I agree with you on all counts, and in all honesty if this was handled in better manner, I had full intentions of posting a note on husn e afza, thanking that even though the dress was not what I expected the owner has amazing business ethics to reimburse me with no trouble, and such is the way they deal with clients, but unfortunately thats not how it was acknowledge & what had happened and paid. the hassle and drama my self and she had gone through. All this would have saved her and myself our valuable time.

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

the bottom line and moral of the story is...DONT'T buy a copy :) K...Bye!

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

That might be true for some, however, I think that copies can turn out quite nice if the RIGHT person is doing them....Proto does an excellent job at copies so lets not discredit those business that provide the expertise, professionalism and customer service we expect.

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

I definitely DISAGREE with not buying a copy! Some replicas turn out better than the original. The original designers will not cater to everyone and every budget. Imitation is the best flattery for them. They have a small and affluent clientele which wears the clothes of the designers as a social and status symbol. Some of us wear lawn suits by Sana Safinaz and Asim Jofa for that reason.

So of course if you have an unlimited budget definitely work with an original designer. But once again original designers usually don't want to deal with you if you don't have deep pockets. They get paid handsomely by the a small customer base that pays them for their originality and for the name of the designer. For the rest of us there are replica designers. Of course cutting cost is one reason to get a replica. So there is wrongdoing on the part of Huzn ne Afza for charging that $3000 dollars and not being to fully deliver a comparable dress of that worth.

One thing I definitely tell my clients (in ref. to readymade clothing) to look for and ask myself when making any high cost purchase is that does this purchase look like its worth X amount of dollars? That's a question of course the hbd should ask themselves. This client is paying this much money...does the end product look like that worth. If you can't deliver a comparable copy its best to be honest and say that I cannot fully deliver a comparable copy and the finished product may or may not be what you are looking for. A fully sequined dress is not always appealing to everyone. Any smart and savvy businessperson will know that you can rip off any client ONLY ONCE. A professional Home based designer knows that an excellent product and word of mouth is THE BEST ADVERTISEMENT. Alot of home based desingers actually forego profits and take a loss even when it is not their fault - because it is good business especially for bridal outfits. So in the long run it will more of a loss for Sana Tariq than for you Mahreen. Inshallah it will be a win w

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

I disagree a bit with the bold part. The replicas that turn out better than the originals typically aren’t straight “replicas” (and don’t claim to be) but are more along the lines of inspired by the original design. These are beautiful and have impeccable attention to detail and are well made. The quality and attention to detail is such that they stand on their own merit, independent of the original design. I would place @prototype’s work in that category (from what I’ve seen of her work on here). One cannot compare this type of work with dressmakers whose primary goal is simply to “copy” a design, regardless of quality, as seems to be the case with the woman @Mahreen Anjam dealt with.

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

I think we are both saying the same thing Mezhgan. Notice how I said the word some …meaning that are replica designers who take pride in their work and also customize as per client demands. Of course the original desinger would do so too but again they entertain clients with DEEPER POCKETS. Most are very upfront about this. It doesnt make sense for them to entertain clients who cant afford their services. So there is no doubt that people seek the services of replica designers because of affordibility and reach. Sometimes even if you can pay Top designers don’t just want to deal with “ordinary folks”. Again hats off to hard working replica designers who take pride and go the extra mile to make a girls dream come true.

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

I agree with you and this has always been my case to her, you guys should see the comment by her on bad online seller. but I am so tired of replying to the oblivion nature of conversation that I have given up and I chose to invest this part of like to enjoy my time before wedding with my near and dear ones

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

Wow....talk about completely missing the point and being so shortsighted.

I hope this thread stays put so people will know how awful this person is, and.....really????? what business ethics ?????

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

it cannot be removed, and i guess its good so people learn from this

Re: My Bridal Dress CHEATED BY HUSN E AFZA

We order from online vendors occasionally and its a good idea to know who to stay away from at all costs. You never know when you might get swindled.

Thanks for posting this.
