Like warren buffet said about investments “Its never too late”. The market will go up as we have huge chances of improvement. I myself have invested in stocks while the market was up. Its never too late. And yes you are correct about balanced funds. Some asset management companies offer asset allocation so you dont have to put your money in different baskets. Its done for you by the fund managers
