Mutual Funds

Re: Mutual Funds

Pakistan market has been ranked number 3 in the world in terms of performance last month
Pakistan ranked third amongst top 10 best performing markets in 2014: Bloomberg | Pakistan Today
I said upto 35% returns, which was shown over the year 2014 while investing in specified mutual funds dealing in equities. It was a great year for investing in stock market. This year shows huge improvements. All of these stock market returns depend on the market conditions. The risks while investing in stocks are high and one who is investing in stocks must understand that the investing period should be kept for the long term
The SBP has decreased the interest and discount rates which has ended up in lower rates given by banks. Government has announced another cut in the interest rate but has not specified when. Once this is implemented it will decrease the banks rates.
Asset allocation is another fund that is offered by us which has good returns and moderate risk. 60-70 percent of your investment is invested in tbills and PIBS while the remaining are invested in high grade equities. This gives you an exposure of the stock market without the full risk. A very good fund for capital growth. I didnot mention it as there are more than 20 funds and my job is to analyse the need of the investor first and then give them the recommendation and advice.
Mutual funds industry is very lucrative for the whole of Pakistan (It helps increase investors profits, helps increase the economy and its performance through continuous investments and helps increase employment rate)
