Hi, I think todays problem with Muslim does not lie either due to some extrimist or due to some very liberal Muslims!!!
The actuall problem lies with majority of us because, we are not obeying the orders from God so how can we expect blessings or the Nusrat from Allah no way!!!
If Interest is not forbidden in Islam ??? Yes it is but we manage somehow to get an excuse for it every time...
Is Prayer is not compulsory 5 Times a day??? Yes it is but again we have something...
There are a lot of things over there which has to be correct rather just critisizing others both Saudis or Indians or any other Nationality...
First lets take the Islam back in life then there will be no problem any more.
I guess it must be very un-islamic to preserve history. Arrabooboo nation should outsource the house to national park service (of USA) and have them preserve, restore and display such a fine artifact with pride. But no sunni, wahabi dare speak out against the house of saud.
Are they gonna show the demolishing like the statues in Afghanistan? When is it being aired. Utter dis-regard of historical property to make a few bucks on parking and a brothel.
I don't know if this adds to the discussion, but I raised the topic at a gathering I went to, and everyone thought I was making things up. No one knew that the prophet's home is being demolished to make those hotels.
You mean you were not aware of it. Proves my point about how Muslims can destroy Hindu temples and forget about it but want the world to forever remember the demolition of Babri Masjid .

There is no justification in demolishing the birthplace as I mentioned before. It should be regarded as a historical site to be preserved and that’s all.
I will take it as you do see the clear difference in Babri Masjid incidence and this alleged plan by S. Arabia since you have avoided the question so far.

I thought that I had already answered your question. Babri masjid was demolished by Hindu fanatics to prove a point in favor of their beliefs and this particular plan is also going to be executed by some extremists (extreme wahabis) to prove a point in favor of their faith. So, in a way, there is a similarity in both incidents. Both incidents would hurt millions of Muslims worldwide. If Saudi government was planning to take this action because Prophet’s birth place was inadvertently causing some serious threat to public life, such an action could be justifiable. But that is not the case. You will see that Saudi gov will act upon this plan no matter what to prove a point in favor of extreme wahabisim and that is to remove every tomb, grave or a mazar if possible.
Muslims will never fail to condemn Israel for invading Lebanon. But Muslims will always fail to condemn the PLO for invading Lebanon FIRST, then unleashing a reign of terror against Shias in the South Lebanon (but I guess to these Muslims, Shias are not human), and then using that region as a base to attack Israel.

I absolutely do not agree with you ravage here. Just because we have ‘no objection from sahaba’ on a particular dispecable act which did not occur at their time, it does NOT mean its OK.

Yaaron, its just that alot of muslims go to makkah and pray infront of these tombs, graves and mazars. This is same as worshipping an idol. This is shirk. We are only suppose to pray infront(or towards) of kabaa. So that is why these extremists are destroying some valuable property. This is nothing new.
