So either you say “We accept the Bible” to which they’ll flush your sacred text down the toilet or either you say ‘I do not accept what is in the Bible’ to which they’ll flush your holy book down the loo…

How can they not? They have ministers and leaders who teach 'em that flushing other people’s holy texts down the flush is acceptable…

guys this is insane, points and counter points without bothering to see that what the other person is saying has some merit. Good points get lost in insults.
There are some serious issues in US, especially in the backwater states and towns. Those simply can not be ignored because of the lameness that is being taught at a number of madrissas
at the same time, we must also open our eyes to the facts that while all madrassas are not factories for extremists, even a small percentage can produce lot after lot of brainwashed mercenaries that can create havoc not just for the west but for peopel living in those areas. The thousands of madrassas "educated" extremists are not getting visas to show up in US, they are staying out in the region, and guess who is in the region who faces their wrath...the locals who dont want to have anything to do with this group.
Rather than ignore a problem, or marginalize it by saying oh well but you gusy have this problem, and the same vicious circle of an argument going on thread after thread, why not understand it, and do something about it. I would love to see americans..muslims or non muslims condemn the lameness that goes on here in our own backyard, and at the same time pakistanis do the same with issues that are present in Pakistan.
and condemnation is not just writing words here, but to the papers, to the relevant authorities, to discuss these among your friends and family, by educating, by speaking up and by doing something about it.
