Sania mirza and for that matter every muslim woman knows that wearing skirt is not allowed in islam.Non muslims just want something to malign Islam.Sania mirza says that she is a practising muslim.The western media and the local media started to protray her as an ideal for young muslim women and girls that you can be a great tennsi player at the same time a good muslim.The reason why muslim clerics are upset and rightly so that a women wearing skirt can be an ideal for muslim women.
It is simple sania mirza cant be a good muslim who wears a skirt if she would not have claimed to be practising muslim no one would have objected to her dress and the media stops protraying her as ideal for young muslim woman no one would have bothered to coment on her dress.She can be an ideal for young women tennis players but not young muslim women
I may add that there is no objection if women play sports in islam but the place they play should be covered and only females should watch them play,
