no religion asks women to strip off, so why religion is making a news here.
besides, having a muslim name or background doesn't mean that they will go to heaven. sometimes even in a same house we have one brother praying five times a day and the other not praying at all.
whereas her being MIss USA...well i dont care. It not the first time women has taken them to this level.

Your thread title is somewhat misleading. I thought there was a separate pageant for only Muslim women vying for the title of Miss Muslim USA.
Anyhow, at the end of the day while I may not agree with her actions, it’s between her and God (and potentially all of the fundos she may incite with her actions). I think she’d be smart to distance herself from her Muslim identity as opposed to presenting herself as a representative of the Muslim faith.
Apparently she prefers Arab- or Lebanese-American, not specifically Muslim.
