It has changed for the better and the point was to tell you why they voted against the unionists. I know that northern India is doing well economically while other states rot in poverty, some living in very poor conditions, thats why Naxalite movemnt is spreading rapidly.

I didn’t deny what you have said either, I just wanted to know, to what extent the things have changed, as far as punjabi hindus and sikhs are concerned, we brought our business and agricultural knowledge, so after two generation we restored our status and prosperity, Northern India is too big. Uttar Pradesh is not naxal infested and insurgency in Indian Punjab in past and even in Indian Kashmir now is not due to poverty, every militant movement has underlying political thought and so has naxalism.
