it depends on compatibility. if the guy and the girl don't give religion any priority in their compatibility, and don't care about the role religion will play in their future... then, yeah, the marriage can survive.
afterall, there are muslim marriages that don't work out over the stupidest and smallest of issues that may even involve religion.
