Re: Muslim for 30 Days
He was stating that the three religions pray to the same God, because we have common prophets. There is nothing common between the 3 Abrahamic religions and Hinduism.

Re: Muslim for 30 Days
The Imam didn’t say “God died” God can never die. He was creating an example for the Christian guy. Secondly, there’s no way you can stump anyone, if you think there is anything remotely common between the Abrahamic religions and Hinduism.
Re: Muslim for 30 Days
Nice show. Thanks for sharing.
A lame attempt to bring Hinduism into the picture. Please stick to the topic.

I agree. It seems like there is a lot of that going on here these days by Hindu forum members. Nothing against any of the Hindus here, but there's no need to try and bring up Hinduism in every damn thread that comes up as well as trying to belittle Islam. If you want to discuss it, there's a forum called "Religion". Besides, the only 3 religions that exist are the 3 Abrahamic ones. Maybe another forum called "Mythology" would be better suited for Hinduism?
Re: Muslim for 30 Days
He looked better with a beard.
I'm amazed at the very first Imam. He didn't explain anything to the poor guy as to what they were praying, how they were praying, why they were praying, what exactly was being said, tsk. Leave it to the other Muslims to explain things to him properly later on.
Shikra is right though. A lot of people (every where) are ignorant and it's up to all of us to try and put an end to these stereotypes rather than just making fun out of stupid americans.
Re: Muslim for 30 Days
Im surprised no one is destroying gupshup, or setting fire to his house for showing prophet pbuh as a cartoon in this doc?![]()
Re: Muslim for 30 Days
where was this?
Re: Muslim for 30 Days
2 times in the doc...they showed him.
once on a tree. the other on the table.
Re: Muslim for 30 Days
ohhh! that's right..those cartoon thingys..
yeah ..it crossed my mind too when i saw it..but didn't think about it again ..
but, it wasn't in a disrespectful manner or anything. just trying to illustrate something i guess
Re: Muslim for 30 Days
Probably cause he was giving a thumbs up and shown more positively as opposed to the European cartoons. It's not the first time he's been depicted. His picture is also in a book which accompanies the (extremely famous) PBS documentary, Islam: Empire of Faith which many of us purchased. Khair, in that too he isn't depicted negatively although it did cause some uproar.
Let's not forget though, we are in North America. Majority of Muslims across the world don't go around burning things.
Re: Muslim for 30 Days
At least he got to say something good at the end.
Re: Muslim for 30 Days
The point of the video is to display the ignorance that people have....and one, after watching half way through can clearly see that certain people have come to conclusion regarding Islam without even knowing what it means.
Re: Muslim for 30 Days
I know the couple, being from Michigan. The mosque shown in the first day video is a beautiful masjid in Canton, Michigan. I have only watched day one so far. I did most of my juma's and taraweehs when I was in michigan. This is very very interesting.
Re: Muslim for 30 Days
p.s: just a quick q, as i was watching the host pray, he said haiyallal falah while standing, do u all say that after kulohowala coz i always said subhana rabi allah.
That was most likely the editing mistake.
Re: Muslim for 30 Days
LOL. Great man!
