You guyz do know that earnings and making money is suppose to be Halal.
If you sell beer in ur job then ur money is considered Haram, and if you do other things that are forbidden it is haram also.
So what is the point of calling yourself a muslim then? if you are not gonna follow the rules and money is haram?

i dont understand. writing poertry of type 'khuda ke waste parda na kabe se utha zalim, kahin aisa na ho akhir wahi kafir sanam nikale' by Ghalib is fine. But Dilp Kumar singing 'mere ram, mere shyam, tera nam, wahi sanch, duja na koya' is not. what is the difference. 'shama-e-butkhana' is such a widely used metaphor for undying love in Urdu poetry, even recently Javed Akhtar wrote 'jaise mandir mein ho koi jalta diya' in 'ek larki ko dekha to aisa laga.'
and what are u going to do to 'heer ranjha' in which muslim hero becomes a hindu jogi. it is written by muslim.
and by haroon's logic, making nuclear bombs is perfectly Islamic, selling beer is not. c'mon. Islam cant be such inhumane religion.

I think most of them are Hindus, they have Muslim names just to attract the Muslim crowd in India and in Pakistan.

Dear Yahoo, either you are not a muslim or you do not know it fully. Islam was made and never evolves. It is a definite set of rules which every one has to follow even if he does not agree with it. Or he is a definite Kafir and should be punished (if he does not convert) as prescribed by the Allah the merciful.
Secondly religion is for mankind and manking is for religion.
Islam according to Quran holds true all through the universe and not only the mankind. Mankind is not for religion, there were humans before the religion started to evolve. Then it is the fear of unknown which gave birth to religion (fear of floods, famines, earthquakes, etc. which the science of that time was not able to explain and so man made stories about gods power behind all this). But now that we have a religion which is tailor made for all times to come, all human beings including Salmans and Shahrukhs should follow it and stop acting in films (as even T.V. is haraam)

1)guys,please don't call each other kafir or words like that.you & me are none to decide that.there may be misunderstandings in belief (as is quite evident here),butthat doesn't allow us to declare others nonbelievers.
2) as far as muslim is concerned,anyone who admits,believes by heart & beholds the kalima-i-tayyaba, he/she is a muslim.same rule applies to indian muslim actors.if they do anything unislamic like chasing & going after girls,drinking & all that stuff but hold their belief in kalima dear to them,they are still muslims though very sinful & inferior grade.
3)once dilip kumar said in an interview that when in movies i worship before idols i feel ashamed by heart & in my intentions,i keep ALLAH instead of that idol to satisfy my muslim spirit.though i know that it's a lame excuse that for sake of some bugs you are bowing be4 idols & repenting in heart,but how can we question his faith on islam by this statement?
4)about islam one thing should be clear that intention is the mother of action.many times our intentions are good but action is quite bad.people only see our action but can't penetrate in our hearts to have a glimpse of our intention.now we don't know what are the intentions of salman,amir & SRK behind their deeds & how do they think about islam.we only see their deeds which are really abusive for any muslim.
5)recently SRK shifted to his new house & as a house-warming ceremony 1st did a QURAN KHWANI & then a HAWAN(hindu ritual)This shows that guy is really nonserious about his islam.
6)PROBLEM WITH A LOT OF MUSLIMS TODAY IS THIS THAT THEY ARE ONLY MUSLIMS BY BIRTH,NOT BY FAITH WHEREAS ISLAM CAN ONLY RUN BY FAITH, NOT BY RACES OR KINSHIP BASIS.SAME SHOULD BE TAUGHT TO THESE INDIAN SOCALLED MUSLIM ACTORS.

what do u mean?? if these people do not talk of hindus, u believe they have something to talk.
If we are all so concerned about Muslim film actors in India (may Allah save us from such livelihood), then maybe somebody should write to them and say something. Although I think they will never get to see what you write since they prob. don't open their own mail.
If we do consider them Muslims, then we should be concerned about their Islam, as hopeless as it may be. I know if I had their mailing addresses, i'd send them each a letter or two, as ridiculous as that may sound. The good part about giving Da'wah, is that the least it does is strengthen your OWN faith, and at best the one spoken to.
