Too many people are pissed off at musharraf for his foriegn policy (which I believe is the right policy) and their being ticked off at that taints their perspective on anything else the govt does. This survey is a testament of that. and is it explains its perceptions and not reality and perceptions can get easily tainted especially for a country where ppl once voted some chica into power based on her political platform that she wanted revenge for her daddy's death.
the fact that 1.5 percent thought that Zia's era was corrupt shows how much these survey audience can be trusted. I mean the era where Klhasnikov bcame a household word, where drugs became as common as cigarettes, where arms depots had to be blown up to cover up for what the govt was doing, the era when sectarian, ethnic and political killings were a daily thing, only 1.5% thought that was corrupt.
Again, people have short term memories, and see the past as more gloious than it was.

this survey is based on people's opinion lol. in Pakistan people can say anything they want to and they usually don'nt take into account facts when making an argument.Benazirs' govt was much more corrupt than Mush's govt and one huge difference there was that Benazir and her husband were directly involved in corruption which can not be said of president Musharraf,same was true of Nawaz Sharif he was directly involved in corruption.

che dont forget to add te fact that for his pwer he also chose to align with the khabees MMA mullahs whose hands are dirty in corruption as well :)
I guess poor guy had to work with the type of political leaders we have supported over the years whether it be an idiot like altaf, rasheed, or fazl..

unprcedented? really? whoa did we like make it to the top position in the list of corrupt countries? cuz weren’t we #2 during BBs era
