uh huh. Now, you totally lost. Does U.S want an abstain vote from Pakistan? There are many scenerios, which U.S asked and Musharraf never did or admit.
P.S:- U.S doesn't even need UNSC vote. It's just a paper work. They can go for war anytime they feel necessary. Question is when.
^ Only Pakistan has said they may abstain - US has not said that. In fact the last official statement from US is they "count on Pakistan" if needed". They cannot spell it out any further for obvious reasons.
Telling Pakistan to vote in favor is only useful if they have 8 other votes. If they have less than that, having Pakistan vote will still defeat and so they'd rather not use that vote, thus avoiding unnecessary embarassment to Islamabad.
Bush does not have the guts to go it alone - We are at a stalemate. Azores is just to come up with face saving withdrawal. Only way to break logjam is for Saddam to exile (all 10 of them)

No. Mexico has said it as well. It's been confirmed. :)

haha. You are an innocent. Why would U.S count on Pakistan since Congress has authorized Bush to launch an attack on Iraq anytime he feels necessary?

Dude, do me a favor and list the 8 members, who supports war. And what's the point of embarassment if Pakistan doesn't vote in favor of war? Explain that as well.
“only Pakistan has said - US has not” - means US has not said Pakistan can abstain. They have in fact said “they will count on Pakistan” - IF needed.
Why does US have to count on Pakistan? Elementary. They want to work on getting 8 votes, knowing Pakistan’s is theirs for the taking. BTW Congress NOT EQUAL UN Sec Council.
The whole point is that US has to get 8 votes in adn to Pakistan and they don’t have it.So cannot be listed.
In all this distracting back chatter, we’re still missing the surprising open admission by Musharaf about the quid pro quo on the nukes.
Who the hell US suppose to tell Pakistan what to do and what not? This kind of American attitude has created Anti-War rallies all over the world and in America as well.
You know what Bush would say when this question asks. Congress overruled UNSC. Who cares, bomb Saddam. I like the way it sound.
Well, you are coming back to the square one again. I asked simply name 8 members of UNSC, who are in favor of Iraq war. Get to work, good boy. Musharraf and Nukes discussion will do later.
Well George W. Bushra has chickened out of the vote, Ari Jewish Fleischer says the vote would be close. Yeah, right.
Ok as far as Pakistan is concerned. I agree that Pakistan should look out for it's interest, use it's brain and not it's emotions. BUT, their are a set of principals that you achiever your interests by and by giving hand in muslim blood is a huge "no no". Remember we formed Pakistan as a muslim state. Israel and Pakistan are the only countries to be ever founded on religious beliefs yet Pakistan is no match for Israel in anythign except for cricket. No dought we have to get on our 2 feet first but still you don't sellout your beliefs as a person or as a nation. For one you don't sell out your muslim brothers for 1billion dollars in aid or for our F16's we bought 15years ago. YOu don't. You can't support war on Iraq. War on Iraq is a war not against Saddamn, Saddamn will be livign in exile somewhere. It's the muslim people in Iraq that will get bent over. It's a war against muslim people.
I think over the last couple of years Musharaff is becoming too big of a Bushra fan. Bushra is a part tiem friend. You guys really think that India attacks Pakistan that US will side with us? No chance that's happening. US will sit and watch and see how it can benefit. I live in the US and i see people here are misled in every directions by their leaders. Every other day these wimps are on a "highten security alert", 51% of the people believe Saddam is responsible for 9/11. They will do anything Bushra or republicans wants them too. Imperialism is the name of the game for US.
