m2k - Well it does have X rated sexual content & there was a video documentary, which is labelled "Desert Nights" there are like 5 parts to it. It was made by a bunch of losers who tried to give Dubai a very bad name. Go watch it for yourself. There is absolutely no truth to it. And I guess yes, it is basically to block that crap.

Because on the surface, it is an islamic country. And there is sexual content on Youtube as well. It isnt X -rated but R-rated.

5abi, yaar do u have influence in the communications sector here mate, coz I swear it, youtube has been unblocked here in UAE, & sorry bout the earlier mistake, yes its R rated. But the main problem was the anti Dubai documentaries.

I just spent 6 months in Pakistan…I went from Islamabad to Karachi… I saw the earth quake effectees in the camps,
Only Islamabad stands as if not even part of Pakistan, and with that mostly the BLUE area and close to the NA…
the rest of the country is in terrible state…
I don’t belong to any mulla group so I am not inherently biased against Mush and the gang…
I went to Pakistan with high hopes seeking the ever so advertised development and saw nothing but lies…
yes there is some good things…and our people are really still good,
but there is a big farce of development in pak. the common farm worker still has nothing…people are still earning $100 a month (6000 Rs. less) and I am talking about workers in factories not the road side peddlers and hawkers…
clean dressed people are standing on the street or what is left of the gali..with their hands out begging, well dressed women with purses standing in karachi begging for help…
groups of prostitutes in roaming around and looking for customers…

The video has no faces, all of them are censored, it is an amateur video. No references, no names, no facts, just pure gibberish.
The guy mentions one aspect of being in the disco of Hyatt Regency with hidden cameras, but he cannot find the main pimp. But a day earlier, he was there, but they couldn't carry cameras hidden or not. How absurd & lame. Do you think security in this part of the world is relaxed???

I would n't go that far b'coz Pakistan is not anyone's jaageer.... but yes he's doing a better job than Benazir and 'dhagga' Nawaz.
