When the Pope in 1095 called for crusades against the invading barbarians (muslims) he too used stories which would inflame his followers in believing the myth that Muslim invaders are barbarians…Bhai, this propaganda has been going on for centuries, they use it, we use it everyone is guilty. BUT, historical facts cannot be fabricated. The Taliban treated women disgracefully? Yes. Killed other muslims on the pretext of bringing order? Yes. Carried out systematic persecution of Shias? Yes. Provided sanctuary to sectarian murderers from Pakistan? Yes.
Ahmed Shah Masood was a brilliant soldier and tactician and was given the title of Sher-e-Panjshehr for his bravery and determination against the Soviets. Has it ever occured to you why we never heard of Mullah Omar during the Jihad against the Soviets? Cause he wasnt there could be one answer or maybe he came in much much later…by the way, Mulla Omar and his band of Taliban made deals with various warlords at different times…the most infamous was their deal with the Uzbek warlord…
In WWI the Arabs colluded with the Brits against the Ottoman empire, they too had good reasons to believe that the Turks were no good muslims…how many cases do you wish to examine…Abbasids carried out their inquisition, Aurenzeb had his share…but the common thread in all of these stories is pursuite of total power or the illusion of it…

^if arabs and i take it you mean the puppets in power and not the masses, stabbed the islamic state in the back does not mean it is correct in fact it was totally incorrect action based on personal benefit and it was the al saud family who did this action a family name today which everyone associates with treachery and backstabbing.
Helping the enemies of muslims is never allowed and with musharaff aiding and helping the american colonialist to mount yet another attack on a muslim country i.e Iran according to this analysis then as muslims we should condemn and stop this action as much as we can.

Please no flip flopping on issues. You presented your case against Mush by giving the example of Taliban, I countered it. Either you accept your argument on Taliban was incorrect or disprove whatever I have stated. To take one sentence out of such a long statement and try to prove your point is not acceptable for constructive and meaningful discussions.

The media was all over it, and the Taliban’s massacre of the Hazara Shia Muslims is well documented.

I am not here to defend anyone but Quoting western news sources for your information is worst thing to do they even saying in Iraq thousands of shia being killed there also and when i ask iraqi who are shia they saying this is bs there is tribal killings and infighting but this stories of tens of thousands shia being slaughtered in iraq is propoganda by the pentagon.
But what i do know is Musharraff allowed the kafir amerikkans to kill tens of thousands of muslims of Afghanistan he is the man who allowed this action if you approve of thousands of innocent people being bombed by B52 bombers than it is not me who is to be ashamed but the one who supports this kind of masscre.

Unfortunatly this is very true amoung the poltical elite they would definetly sell their mother for money, this is common label now attached to pakistan on a global level it is very sad that no one among these so called leaders has honour any more, their honour can now be bought for a fistful of dollars!

Atleast he was there when Kargil was underway unlike Nawaz and some people who bash Mushy all the time. He fought '65 and '71 battle bravely along with other Pakistani soldiers. It is always about fighting for your country.

what's wrong with you ingrates...but for musharaf and how he worked with bush, pakistan will by now have been run over by the osama (or osama-like) gang of thugs or by the bush's so-called 'multi national' army of mujahideen (= freedom fighters, right?)
not to forget the billions in outright dole that bush gave to prop up the economy that was sinking 4 years ago...now pakistanis seem actually happy about the direcrtion of their economy....would that have hapened if it wasn't for mush....but for him, you'd have had a 4 leaders by now.
yes he may be bush's lapdog but don't ever forget this - because of the way he has condcuted himself and pakistan, you guys still have some dignity left to call yourself a country. Without him, the A.Q.Khan gang of crooks would surely have resulted in swift and serious punishment from international bodies, to the extent of loss of your soverignty.

^ couldn't agree more. why do u guys really care about iran anyways? its not like we had good terms with them in the first place. if anything happens to pakistan none of the so called muslim countries from middles or iran will come to its rescue. musharraf is smart and if working with bush is in advantage of pakistan, so be it. our previous so called leaders didnt really do anything for pakistan besides filling up their swiss accounts. if it takes a dictator to pull up the economy. i say more power to him.
i'd rather see an effective dictator/president than 5 failed leaders elected.
