Its not just media who was blaming Pakistan, there was probably G8 summit afterwards and India tried to accuse Pakistan of Mumbai blasts but no one beleived it they only gave general statements of condemnation of bombing but didn't reprimand Pakistan on it.... we have guppies who claim here that all evidences are shared with 'responsible' countries then it means that the evidences provided to the G8 countries on that account was not sufficient, so Pakistan wasn't alone is saying that there is no evidence.
I am not questioning that all, what I am saying is that India's so called evidence lacked ground in not just Pakistan's view but worlwide view thats why India failed to garner support after Mumbai bombings... so yeah keep sharing the so called evidences :p

Let me honestly tell you what I think Pakistan has been doing. In 1990s Pakistanis were giving material support to Kashmiri fighters through one channel or the other. But now I don’t see Pakistan giving any material/military support to any group in Kashmir let alone in India. However, moral, diplomatic and political support is very much there. India knows it, West knows it, everyone knows it. And please don’t tell me about the two three ‘terrorists’ who cross line of control every year. All this cross border infiltration accusation is a desperate attempt to dupe the international community.
Secondly, bombings in Mumbai or anywhere in India are NOT in Pakistan’s interest. These things always give India an excuse to run away from any talks by blaming Pakistan. The problem with India is that it’s not interested in serious talks, and will jump at the slightest opportunity to slip away from negotiating table, and these terrorists, whoever they might be, are actually helping India’s cause not harming it. Shouldn’t be too difficult to understand.
