and it is possible to give them access to their personal drive … You can create a logon batch file and write the following line in it

net use [drive name e.g. H]: \](file:///)[servername][userprofilefolder] /persistent:yes
e.g. net use h: \karachi\userdata](file:///karachiuserdata) /persistent:yes
where **karachi **is the name of server and userdata is the name of the folder that would open when they go to H drive

when the user is loggin to AD, then there is not much a need to creat batch filee, the same setting can be provided into the users property in AD.
