@Mirch - I donno what he wants other than what he & others in the US govt have said - which is full cooperation without any double play. Pakistan govt in its turn has said they will have to strategize based on Pakistani interests - thus somehow implying that double play is their strategy! that is the problem as I see it

American Administration has been playing that double game too. Now they have come up with a theory of Good Talibaan and Bad Talibaan.
Pakistan might have ties to Good Talibaan in Haqqani group. Who knows. Why not give benefit of doubt to your partner in war on terrorism instead of hanging them on a cross.
