its not my own argument but some critics argue. I think they want the sotry more idealized perhaps. I personally believe that love is not bound to bodies but souls.

thats right, but considering empowerment of today's society (which does not give woman right to choose her jeevan sathi in many areas), how can one expect Heer (a lady from 17th-18h Century) to be so independent. We got an example of Mira Bai, but she was a Bhagt of Krishna and her love was not for a man.

agree, agr hum larkion ko apni marzi se apna jeevan sathi choose karnay ki ajazat dein to i think ghar se bhagnay wali nobat nahi aye gi, leken hum es se pehlay larkion ki immaturity se bhi deal karna hoga.

I know larkay bhi immature hotay hain lekn normally shadi k case main larkay ya to mature hotay hain ya larki ko exploit kar rahy hotay hain.
agr dono immature hon to shadi tk bat nahi ponhachti.
