How exactly would you respect some one who openly believes that your MOM was BAD LADY? answer to this may clear few things in your mind!!!

What if ur mother (birth giver) converts today and starts insulting sahabas just like shias do… would u say its okay she is my mom she can do whatever she wants on the tokken of being ur mother ?

Aisha didnt follow Quran and left her house to fight Ali when Quran has forbidden her clearly… but wait she is mother of all. First Rule is MOTHERS R ALWAYS RIGHT… And then we follow Quran and Prophets sunnat.
If a muslim is being critical on Aisha then we cant be frineds with a sunni, what is ur Fatwa on Mola Ali going on war against Aisha ? If it was up to u… he wouldnt even be called Ali r.a or be sunnis fourth caliph. Is it something new ? No, There were muslims like you who didnt even replied to salam of Mola Ali a.s.

Do we want unity with muslims who didnt even say wa-alikum when Mola Ali a.s said A.o.a to them ? NO, my heart wont agree to this deal. But when i go back and check history even MOLA ALI a.s agreed to unity of muslim ummah so if i really love mola Ali i shld follow what he wanted and it was unity of Ummah.

Anyway, there is no chance of unity between Shai and Sunni… as Shardmanny said, there is difference in basic believes, the Personalities which are respected and followed by Sunnies are thrashed by Shias ( some thing like character of Mehmood of Ghazna, who is hero of Muslims of sub-continent and central Asia and a negative character for Hindus).

I agree with you if a conflict wasnt solved for 1400 years its never gona be solved…
Or we can adopt a different approach and have a bitter sip through our thorats for unity of Ummah.

The way peace is possible provided both sides should try and build their base on Quran but that may have another hurdle, Most of Shia believes that the Quran we have is not the original one,** some say that Hazrat Ali (RZA) kept the original version to Himself** and His household saying that whatever Usman (RZA) have compiled is enough for Muslims and some believes that a Six year old BOY escaped and is still in hiding with the original copy of Quran and some have believe that the text of Quran has been altered, the ayats signifying the importance and ruling rights of Ahl-e-Bait has been deleted…

I am surprised people still follow stere-o-types. Even the people who are regular intern users.
When we says Mola Ali kept orginal version to himself… this doesnt mean a different Quran. It means same Quran but in its Orginal order (starting with Iqra) and ending with last revieled verse.

So what would be the basis of Peace? peace for the sake of peace never works, it get shattered with the 1st sign of weakness of other party and thats what has been happening from last 1350 years…

So what is ur proposal. you have propblems with shias insulting sahabs… i have to agree with u here. If you love sahaba you shld have problem with those who have negative image of sahabas. This is how people would know u have love for ur sahaba… But if we dont condemn enemies of ahleybait woudlnt u be the first one to question our love for ahelybait ?
Just like u have right to condemn shias who insult sahabas we have a right to condemn those who had hatered for ahleybait a.s.

The common terms are here oneness of ALLAH and Rasool s.a.w being his last prophet. Can we keep our issues aside for ALLAH and his RASOOL s.a.w ? By now we shld learn how third parties are using problems between us and taking fulll advantage of them.

1) Do not Lie, Keep your Promises, Believe in One Allah and Do no Follow Shaitan

2) Stand for Justice, Treat Weak with Kindness and elders with respect

3) Seek Knowledge, Think about the whereabouts of the universe

4) Pray to Dear Lord ( and Messenger (SAAW) have told us how to do that)
