I just finished off watching this long confession vid but if you watch after 1:00 he describes how he got caught up.

So basically he was asked by Dr. Safdar Baqir in South Africa to join camps in India which as per him he denied. He was strictly warned of consequences and then asked to write it down that he doesnt want to go. He did but then also he escaped to karachi without notifying them after which MQM issued notification of his exclusion.
So that was the basic crime afterwhich it was easy to give his information to CID who caught him at airport. Had that not happened, he might still be safe somewhere

No sympathies with Saulat Mirza but I strongly think he shouldn't be executed at this time but rather be held to testify against Altaf Husain. Once he's dead then his confession video will only remain a vid statement but a live statement will be a real aid to prosecute the actual satan

I found the Express Tribune article on his love-life in bad taste. Another example of unprofessional, clumsy and badly written tabloid style churnalims by supposedly broadsheet newspaper.

However, I do believe his execution should be highlighted in the media as widely as possible. Simply to send MQM youth a strong message. A message that says that tomorrow it could be you if you don't part your ways with criminality today. I'm pretty sure awful lot of them can relate to Mirza's background story and the types of crimes they commit before they became full time and completely hands on notorious killers. They all do the same warm up activities.

I doubt if he'll not be executed as he's already moved to Mach. But thats exactly wut Pakistani authorities should do if they are serious in apprehending Altaf. Its the best card they have but once he's executed it'll be history
