KARACHI: Pulling in its horns, Muttahida Qaumi Movement late on Sunday night withdrew its call for a shutterdown strike in Karachi after Rangers, the paramilitary troops warned strict action against forced shutdown of businesses, transport, and educational institutes, Samaa reported.

The MQM is scared. The Rangers action has sent MQM killers running away in fear.

They do not control Karachi like they used to.
