Altaf has said many times that Talibans are actually responsible for situation in Karachi so why is he resisting a military strike that he has been supporting in tribal areas? Yes Karachi isn’t FATA but end result is that more people are daily being killed than even FATA so why is this Taliban apologist resisting action against Talibans in karachi?

He wants army to continue fighting Taliban while in Karachi he would like to be given a freehand to eliminate Taliban (in fact all opposition).
