Thats positive . hmmmm I am usually busy doing my own things, even in toronto I have 11/2 half friends.
yup. i lived in a small town. wasn't exactly a village, but i loved it there. you tend to be a lot of self-reliant, but it's a bit different from living in TO. Almost like living in some suburb, but without any pesky main roads.
also the bus fares are cheaper :D

I have lived in two different small towns in different parts of the US and i had different experiences. The first place had 99% population and was so not diverse. The people were not very friendly and i didnt like being there at all.
WHere ia m living now is also what i consider a small town although it is a metro area for the state. I am liking it alot, the people are nice, its very quiet, calm and peaceful. Since both hubs and I are not party people, we are ok with it.
If i were you, i would probably not mind moving to the town you are describing. It doesnt seem too far away from a big city so you can have the best of both worlds, so to say. But if you are the kind of person who goes out to movies, eats out a lot etc, then i think you would be better off in a big city.

Its not too far from city. northand west is like small mountain area. I love hiking.
Clear sky at night I could use my telescope. I could live with out ppl too.
But can't live with out nature.
