If that is the movie I am thinking about, there were umpteen songs - one worse than the other, each song running 3 plus paras. In India in the old days some men would get up in unison during songs. Just because.
I can only imagine the mass exodus while the riveting songs blared.
just finished watching maatrubhoomi, although it had it shock moments, I personally though it was an amazing movie, that has a powerful and meaningful message, but then again I am one of them "odd" ones that LOVE weird, touch to reality, slit your wrists and cry art type movies :D
as for the movie that I regret watching..... has to be "blue",meaningless senseless movie.
. I’ve no desire to watch Hum Aap k Hain Kaun again. In fact I only have a vague memory of the movie, so it didn’t make a strong impression. And that cheesy song about chocolate and lime juice…and the one with backwards counting? Just no.
It's a feel good movie. Most Bollywood movies are for entertainment only. I wouldn't watch it again by choice, but it's not that awful that I would characterize it as a total waste of time. There are far worse movies out there.

It's a very over-the-top melodramatic musical. But I thoroughly enjoy Madhuri's dancing/acting/screen beauty/dialogue delivery etc. each and every time I watch it. She knows how to create magic on screen. There are very few bollywood movies that you can enjoy with your family. Suraj Barjatya's movies at least are watchable. I'm afraid I can't say the same for Karan Johar movies (with the exception of KKHH).
