Wait… U actually made it to the end of the movie before feeling sick? I couldn’t make it a quarter ways in even. When that pubescent lil boy was dressed as a girl and then exposed during the saath phairay… that made me wonder many things. Like did the groom know he was marrying a lil boy? Would the boy have been sexually abused later on? Did the lil boy have any idea what he was getting into? Maybe the groom planned to take advantage of the boy and used the marriage as a cover up. If any of these questions were answered later on in the movie…I didn’t wait to find out. Ur braver than I am.

I recall pittah… Never watched all of it though and don’t plan to. I think it’s based on the movie A Time to Kill. I heard Mardani was good but I don’t have the stomach for the graphic subject of human trafficking.

I watched it till the end, but took me 2/3 times to finish…I couldn’t watch it in one go. I remember pacing back and forth around the house with anger and disgust…my back then 23 year old mind couldn’t fathom such issues. TBH nothing absolutely surprises me anymore in people. Nothing at all
