there was this old man who lived with a cow in the same room facing the road. i used to pass by this house. i found the room washed and cleaned once a day [in the morning] and smell of some unfamiliar incense. by evening the cow would have made that room very filthy and smelly. i hated to pass by his house but i had no other choice. thank God i didn’t live in his neighbourhood. i was subjected to this torture during my visits to my relative in Allahabad.

i have people telling me about one of the benefits of living with a cow in the same room is that all the mosquitoes go to the cow while he sleeps peacefully at night!

in winters, cows are like radiators. vary naice to sleep in the cow shed.
