Ramayana. Was Bharatas mother. Devoted to the family. Considered Rama as her own. But mind was poisoned by Manthara. Who manipulated her to have King Dasharatha send Rama to vanvas.
That 14 yrs of stagnation may have adversely impacted Bharatavarshas progress.

Meant Bharatavarsha's progress. Yaaani ke Hindustan ' s progress. Bharata, Kaikeyi 's son lived in a small hut while placing Rama ' s footwear on the throne.
Who knows, we might have beat back the East India Company if we hadn't lost those 14 years.
Re: Most misunderstood person in history?
Every Pakistani patriot understands today that Taliban are Pakistan’s enemies. It means that anyone supporting Taliban is also enemy of Pakistan. This list of Taliban supporters include one eyed Mullah Gumrah Dajjal and Haqqanis.
Following report shows the close cooperation between Haqqanis, TTP, and Afghan Taliban.
Now you can squeak all you want, it is obvious to all Pakistanis, including the military that any terrorist is a bad terrorist.
In fact, it is duty of every Pakistani to report Khariji supporters among us to law enforcement agencies. These snakes are as dangerous to Pakistan as khawarij.
Pakistan warns Afghan Taliban and Haqqani Network - thenews.com.pk

Thursday, April 17, 2014
According to well-informed sources, the warning from the establishment was prompted by the growing cooperation among the Afghan Taliban, the Haqqani Network and the Pakistani Taliban, which has reinforced the martial power of TTP in its current conflict with the security forces of Pakistan.
The TTP spokesman, Shahidullah Shahid, already admitted on October 6, 2013 in an interview that the Afghan Taliban were financially supporting the Pakistani Taliban besides providing them sanctuary in Afghanistan.
…
the close nature of ties between the Afghan and the Pakistani Taliban can be gauged from the fact that the central Shura of TTP has already referred their internal differences to the Afghan Taliban while asking Mullah Omar to intervene and send a delegation to resolve the tiff between two major factions of Mehsud militants from South Waziristan.
Karzai was Pashtun and so is Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai, while Abdullah Abdullah is also half Pashtun. So Pashtuns are represented at the top post of Post-khariji Afghanistan. But even if one is stupid enough to ignore these facts, even if Pashtuns really are marginalized in Afghanistan, still it is Afghanistan’s problem. Pakistan has no right and no resources to get involved in Afghans fighting each other.
If Pakistan supports terrorists, Haqqanis and Talibani, destabilizing Afghanistan then Afghanistan also would have the right to support TTP and Baloch insurgents in Pakistan. Only a shameless khariji hypocrite would say otherwise.
Haqqanis and Mullah Gumrah kharijis support TTP. In my view, anyone supporting them belongs to the same group as TTP. Dushmanan e Pakistan.
Re: Most misunderstood person in history?
I don't know about being "the most" misunderstood but I think Anne Boleyn, second wife of Henry VIII, is definitely one of the most misunderstood people in history. She is either maligned as a seductress, plotter, and homewrecker or portrayed as a tragic victim of her tyrannical husband. In reality, she was a quite a complex woman and neither of these rather one note portrayals do her justice.
Anne Boleyn's biggest crime was that she didn't give birth to a son. Sometimes I wonder if she would've graciously placed her head on the guillotine with a smile if she was told that the "Bstard" daughter she conceived in passion would eventually become the Queen and rule the country for nearly half a century in such manner that the history would remember her as one of the most successful Monarchs of all time. One of the many ironies of history.

People of Indian region remained inactive or busy in non-productive activities (only productive activity was reproduction
), so this might have cost us defeat against East India company.

'Invalid' since undeniable.
Different groups of mufsideen have set their evil eyes on different Islamic countries. Iraq, Saudi, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, Yemen. But they all follow the same evil ideology. This is why they help each other out when required.
No armed group should exist in Pakistan except the khakis. Pakistani territory should not be used as a launching pad for terrorist activities anywhere else in the world.
Every Pakistani patriot would agree with it.
