Car indicators are another useless thing...does anyone even use them anymore? I just slip in to the other lane when I feel there's enough space. As for taking a turn the car behind can see the brakes I apply to slow down right…so!
The lack of use of indicators is a problem chronic to bigger cities only. Come down south, even to Southern Virginia and it is almost rude to change lanes without it. And if you go further down to Florida, then they use what was best described by Seinfeld as an 'eventual turn'. Indicate today and make a turn whenever you feel like it.

Cable TV... i remember the 'old' days when I'd be content to watch less than 5 hrs of tv a week and i'd actually do stuff... like outside. I think i'd like to include the internet in that too.
Oh and mobile phones (i kno its been mentioned twice already)... worst thing ever after alarm clocks - oh for the days when you didnt have to explain to parents why you turned your phone off when they were trying to contact you! sigh
