If the US can name various places after, racist, slave owners, criminals, murderers and war criminals then whats with Pakistan doing so? The UK has various places named after Winston Churchill who called Gandhi a dirty little beggar and was by all accounts a racist.

Ofcourse Winston churchill did nothing for UK , so yes why the hell he was given respect. Quadri has for sure served his country far more than churchill, isnt it?! :)

A person is dignified in his own country on the basis of what he's done for them. Churchill proved to be one of the best politicians ever. Especially the way he brought his country back to track during and after second world war. Now if he was a racist or no, a normal briton wont care cuz he did his job for the country.
And comparing him with Quadri? I mean i'm stumped on the match.
Tomorrow if Modi comes in power in India and make his country a super power like the way many are anticipating, do you think he wont be or shouldnt be given respect? We all know how he thinks about muslims.

Ignorance is the best in the West. The comparison was not of character or quality. It was an example of freedom of expression. If a racist, a man who ordered the execution of war prisoners, their torture and ordered the bombing of civilians can be considered a great politician and have numerous things named after him and its considered acceptable and celebrated. Well what I can say to the moral compass of that person?
There is no difference between that person and a Qadri supporter. But both have the right to name whatever location as they wish. You can disagree with it, but the Freedom of expression is sound.

If you can name Streets after war criminals in the US and EU then you can do the same in Pakistan.
