Re: Morocco

I'm off to morocco this Sunday insha allah. Does anyone know how much it costs to get to Marrakech city from the airport? where can I get best exchange rates from?

are you back yet :P

Re: Morocco

^ yep. Back to UK. thanks to everyone for their advice. I printed out the thread and went by it. Visited Marrakech and Agadir over a period of 10 days. Absolutely beautiful, the people were very friendly and i got to practice my arabic with the moroccons especially taxi drivers!

On arrival to Marrakech I got the bus from the airport to the hotel, saving myself around 60 dirhams. We paid 40 dirhams to the driver and tipped him 10 for getting the luggage onto the bus. He stopped right outside the hotel in Gueliz.

In Marrakech we visited the famous square and attractions around it and also went to the Oasiria water park. We got a supratour bus to agadir which took 5 hours as u said and registered luggae for 5 dirhams per bag. It was a comfortable journey and the coach was air conditioned.

The taxi drivers in agadir tend to stick to their meters, with a few exceptions. The beach was lovely in Agadir.

nice to hear you enjoyed your trip - here are some of my photos:-
